Mlk Mural

Location: Atlanta, GA

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) came to ABV Agency looking for a mural to add to their Atlanta headquarters. Since its founding, AHF has become a center for progressive medicine and advocacy within the metro-Atlanta area and we were thrilled to collaborate with them on a project that would align with their mission.

For this project, we knew that JEKS, the artist behind the iconic Atlanta Outkast mural from Outer-space 2019, would be the perfect fit.

I’m trying to use the company’s colors as vividly as possible coupled with the stoic and timeless black and white portraits. Fo course based on MLK Jr’s strength, beauty and message of love juxtaposed with the delicateness of a flower/rose.” - JEKS

Throughout the entire process, the ABV team worked closely with both JEKS and AHF. The result is an installation that uses JEKS’ hyper-realistic style to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and spotlight AHF’s dedication to advocacy. We are proud of this collaboration and this visual embodiment of the transformative work being done by AHF in the metro-Atlanta community.
